Dumai - On 22 October 2014, Patra SK through its CSR programs for Edu-cation held drugs seminar for Middle and High School students in Dumai City. This event was attended by more than 500 stu-dents and teachers. This seminar was also attended by COO of PT Patra SK, Dumai City Deputy Mayor, Chief of District prose-cutor, Police head division of Drugs abuse, and Operational chief of BNK (National Drugs Abuse Control Department) as keynote speaker.
During the drugs seminar, students showed very posi-tive response and BNK reveals that 40 % of drugs abuse user are students. The reason why Patra SK supports BNK is to prevent and decrease rate of drugs abuse among the students by provid-ing information regarding the danger of drugs abuse and also the consequences that might appear if they illegally use drugs (such as : will be dealing with Police and Prosecutor). They also reveal the effect of drugs to their physical and mental health. As closing BNK announces the winner of anti-drugs yel-yel (jingle).
