Dumai, pesisirnews.com – Department of Manpower and Transmigration in Dumai cooperate with PT Patra SK held a training for new job seekers in Dumai on Monday (May 11^th, 2015).

Related to that matter, PT Patra SK cooperate with The Manpower and Transmigration of Dumai City held a basic welding course through CSR Program for new job seekers in Dumai.

Chief of Training Department, Raisman in his reporting said that the basic welding course was followed by 16 participants that consist of 10 persons from Tanjung Palas Sub-District and 6 persons from Jaya Mukti Sub-District and will be held during 1 month.

“All training cost will be covered by PT Patra SK,” he said.

Chief of The Manpower and Transmigration Department of Dumai City, H. Amiruddin in his welcome speech express his gratitude to PatraSK which is already give the basic welding course for all of new job seekers that located near at PT Patra SK neighborhood.

“This basic welding course was given for all new job seekers that never had a working experience that mean is the participants who join this welding course is they who never had an experience in welding and never had a job,” Amiruddin explained.

Amiruddin also asks to company for continuing this kind of course to the next level so that they can request a certification from Minister of Manpower and Transmigration in Jakarta.

“The knowledge that they obtained in this course is not perfect, therefore we ask to PT Patra SK to continue this course to the next level, so they can obtain the completion certification from Minister of Manpower and Transmigration in Jakarta. Because if they only join in this basic course, they only obtain the certificate from Dumai Manpower and Transmigration Department,” he said.

Amirruddin also explained that recently Department of Manpower and Transmigration in Dumai had conducted other course program.

“Department of Manpower and Transmigration continue to maximize the function of training center and creative house so it can generate the reliable and professional human resources so they can fulfill the requirements for every company in Dumai,” he said.

Amiruddin also inform to all company in Dumai to set aside CSR budget to conduct training course to kids who looking for job, so they can have a skill and can work in the company in Dumai.

“And to all kids who looking for job, I would like to congratulate to join basic welding training until finish, please take all the knowledge and change the mindset that we must work at company, but try to open own working place that makes you independent,” he said.

Meanwhile, Public Relation of PT Patra SK, Wisnu Adhitia said that PT Patra SK coordinate with Department of Manpower and Transmigration to conduct basic welding training and the participants prioritized for Ring-1 Area.

“Participants who join the basic welding training are 16 persons where located in Ring-1 area and it is not impossible for the next training will be conducted continuously for another districts, but for the first step certainly prioritized for operational area, he said”.

He said that with this basic welding training, it is not impossible they will have a chance to work and join at PT Patra SK but we expect that the participants who join this training could open their own business.

“In 2015, PT Patra SK through the CSR Program is prioritizing about scholarship for poor students and empowerment program like this kind of training,” he said. (via)
