Pertalite has Positive Response, Premium Sales Shrink

 

South Tangerang – In the end of July 2015, government launch new gasoline called Pertalite. It turns out the motor vehicle users to give a positive response. According to the latest data, the 90 octane gasoline is slowly continued to reduce the Premium market share.

 

Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Wianda Pusponegoro inform that fact on press conference in Pertamina Stand on exhibition of Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2015 at Indonesia Convention Exhibition, South Tangerang, Thursday (August 20th, 2015).

 

Wianda said, the growth of Pertalite usage is very good. When it began to be marketed in the new area, response which given by community is very positive. Gradually, Premium sales portion taken by Pertalite.

 

“Before Pertalite, Premium consumption reaches 79 percent from fuel that sold by Pertamina. After Pertalite, Premium shrunk to 68 percent, and we predict will be continuously decrease,” said Wianda.

 

Other data, up to now Pertalite national consumption has reached 1 million liters per day from 286 gas station that sell Pertalite. Average from each gas station reaches 3,280 liters per day.

 

“The demand is quite high. Even the gas station that located in the middle of town, the Pertalite consumption per day reaches 8,000 to 10,000 liters per day,”Wianda said.
